A guided snowshoe excrusion during the full moon in Repovesi National Park offers participants winter nature as the almost full moon creates its own lights and shadows. A guided excursion in the moonlight and in the park's hilly terrain off the trails offers even experienced Repovede visitors something new to experience.

Winter nature of Repovesi National Park in the moonlight

The Repovesi National Park area is rugged and wilderness. In winter, the park is quiet, although not completely silent. The frost may snap in the nearby trees or after a mild day when the sun goes down and the frost gets tougher, the ice of lake Tervajärvi may booms like distant thunder and be heard far away. Maybe there are also owls already waiting for spring in the sound.

The participants will gather on the day of the excursion at 17:00 at the Tervajärvi Rental Base at the gate of Tervajärvi in Repovesi National Park at the address Kivisilmäntie 720, 47910 Kouvola. The excursion ends at the starting point by 9:00 p:m..
