Description of the difficulty of the trail section:
The trail section is seen all-the-time as on open and clear trail in the terrain.
Starting from the sand pit, the trail section runs on flat terrain with only minor differences in height. Halfway through the section, the trail begins to gradually climb over several hills to the northern turning point, from where it turns back south along the old ski trail. Before the northern turning point, a forested swamp area can be seen on the left in the direction of movement, through which the trail has previously passed. The trail section is easy when moving with snowshoes and with wide skishoes.
Character of the trail section:
The terrain and forest types of the trail section are varied and there are many details to see on the section. From the sand pit, the trail runs along an old logging road and is thus easily visible in the natural terrain. After crossing the official route of the national park (Talas - Määkijä), the terrain is still open. On the hilly section of the trail, the trail runs, among other things, along the borders of the forest type, along the rock bottoms and on top of the cliffs.
Lenght of the trail section:
1300 m
Point of the interest along the trail section:
Flying squirrel and black woodpecker
Beard moss hills
Giant dead tree stumps
Swamp and "torture of the tree"
Ball-shaped wind nest pine tree
