Lake Valkjärvi, swimming, shore ja washing
Valkjärvi is the clearest lake in Repovesi National Park, where the visibility depth has been 4.5 meters at its best. In their own activities, customers must take into account the smallest possible load on the lake, especially when washing.
The sauna is located in the yard of the rental camp area and the shore is approx. 40 meters away (the location has been determined by Metsähallitus). There is a pier on the shore with no stairs to the water. The shore is hard-bottomed but partially soft. At the end of the pier you can jump off to swim and there is already good water for swimming at the end of the pier. Swimming is the customer's own responsibility.
In Valkjärvi, it is especially important to note that when washing, the detergent must be prevented from entering the waterways. It is recommended to wash with only lake water but not into lake. If you need to use detergents for washing, you should use mild products labeled with the eco-label, for example, detergents used in saunas. For washing, there are water containers in connection with the sauna.
Reservation and use
The sauna is available to the customer from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival to 10 a.m. on the day of departure. The customer may only start using the sauna when the reservation period begins. Sauna stowes must be at such a temperature that they can be handled during disassembly.
User maintenance procedures
Before the end of the rental, the customer is responsible for the maintenance of the user of the tent sauna, which includes emptying the water containers, etc. hot water tank, removing disposable tablecloths from the sauna and closing the tent sauna doors, and checking and tightening the tent sauna's fastening cords.
Noteworthy
Before using the sauna, familiarize yourself with the safety and usage instructions you received in the email (link) after payment. Valkjärvi's well water should not be used as a water source for hot water tanks because the iron and manganese content in the water forms a strong brown foam on the surface of the heated water, which is not pleasant to use for washing. In addition, iron and manganese adhere to the surface of hot water tanks.
